Vito - Ready Or Not [OFFICIAL VIDEO]

I’M JUST TRYING TO LIVE MY LIFE…
This phrase may seem a bit cliché, but living life has not always been easy for Ryan Carter, who is better known as Vito. Born to Guyanese parents, Vito learned at a young age that life is not always fair and everything that glitters is not always gold. It was those life lessons that helped mold Vito into the man that he is today. A charismatic and street-wise rapper, with the poise and presence of a seasoned vet, Vito has all the makings of a superstar.
His music is an accurate reflection of his life; his sound is a blend of east-coast lyricism and southern swagger. To say Vito is a versatile artist, would be an understatement. In the summer of 2009, Vito released what would prove to be one of the hottest underground records in Miami, entitled STREET MONEY. The violin-laced hit single was quickly followed by the official video, and Vito was immediately propelled into the forefront of up-and-coming artists to watch in Miami. The very same video helped launch the career of Miami’s “go to” director, Dre Films. With STREET MONEY burning up the local scene, Vito quickly got to work on his first mix tape. The outcome was Diary of a Dictator Volume 1.

Diary of a Dictator Volume 1, or D.O.D as it is commonly referred to, helped garner Vito even more attention for his unique sound and refreshing lyrics. Keeping collaborations to a minimum, D.O.D served as the platform for Vito to showcase his talents. From the very beginning to the very end, D.O.D captures Vito firing on all cylinders. The infectious beats and sharp, witty wordplay makes D.O.D a must listen.

Vito will be the first to admit that D.O.D helped him find his stride, and with time comes growth. With the landscape of urban music constantly changing, Vito has managed to evolve as an artist while staying true to his roots. He has earned the respect of his peers. But as sure as those life lessons learnt still ring true, Vito is constantly chasing perfection and life as he sees it. He is currently working on a new mix tape that is entitled AIRBAGS, and according to Vito is some of his best work to date. Judging from his past work AIRBAGS will be nothing short of amazing.
